Autodesk Instructables Pier 9 Workshop Artist In Residence Joe Martin is a computer engineer, artist, PCB designer and make/hack/tinkerer. He has toured the world and collaborated with many notable artists, enhancing their work with custom circuitry for motor controls, lighting, and interactivity. His own artworks involve video, fire, lasers, sensors and LED lighting, and have been shown in galleries across the world. In 2012 he co-founded LumiGeek with fellow AiR John "Parts" Taylor. Their mission is to lower the barrier of entry to cutting-edge LED lighting controls and technology for artists, designers, and DIYers.
