Irene Posch focuses on the integration of current technological development into the fields of art and craft as well as DIY culture. She recently worked with the Ars Electronica Futurelab Research and Innovation Group focusing on the intersection of art and technology designing and realizing interactive exhibits and exhibitions and working on research and development projects in the field of Human-Computer-Interaction and Experience Design. Irene teaches at the University of Art and Industrial Design Linz and at the department for New Media - Technology - Culture at the University of Klagenfurt. She is currently a PhD student at the Vienna Technical University at the Institute for Design and Assessment of Technology. has a BSc and MSc in computer science and media, having studied at the Vienna Technical University, University of Applied Arts Vienna and Middlesex University London.
