Connected Environments
Posted by isabelwd / September 7th, 2010 / 1 ResponseNatalie Jeremijenko takes Leaders in Software and Art on a private tour of her solo show at the Neuberger Museum of Art in Purchase, NY. The show is curated by Jacqueline Shilkoff, Neuberger Museum Associate Curator for New Media and the Digital Museum, and will be up through October 24th, 2010.
From remote controlled geese to a “fish restaurant” where the fish are the diners and not the dinees — from sexy bat hunting to fighting the strongest insect on earth — and from building an environmental health clinic to bringing planes in for a safe “wetland-ing”, Natalie builds awareness of the way we interact with our natural ecosystem through her witty and very smart science and art.
Special thanks to Jeff Becker of Jeff Becker Photography for being our videographer, the Neuberger Museum for giving us a warm welcome, and Sophie Barrett-Kahn for setting up the tour.
